The idea for BetterSpice begun in 2011, when in trying to make Suya Spice which is a special blend of carefully selected spices and seasonings like garlic, ginger, cayenne, Negro pepper etc. from West Africa. When applied to meats like kebab, the inviting aroma permeating one’s nostrils from the street corner grills is enough to make your mouth water. This once-upon-a-time popular street food has weaved its way onto our eateries to become one of West Africa’s favorites. The tremendous health quality and benefit of these spices has made Suya the excellent food seasoning for the health-conscious person. However, the peanuts had to be excluded from the ingredients due to allergen considerations, hence the birth of BetterSpice.
